Heat Pump Installation
Air Source Heat Pumps | MCS Certified | BUS Grant Eligible | South East
Air source heat pumps are the most efficient way to heat and cool your home — extracting heat from outside air even in cold weather and transferring it inside. AirCon Doctor install air source heat pumps across East Grinstead, Surrey, Sussex, Kent and Hampshire.
How Air Source Heat Pumps Work
An air source heat pump works like a refrigerator in reverse. It extracts heat energy from outside air — even when temperatures are as low as -20°C — and uses it to heat your home and hot water. In summer, the process reverses to provide cooling.
Modern heat pumps deliver 3–4 units of heat for every unit of electricity consumed — making them 300–400% efficient compared to 100% for electric heating.
Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS Grant)
The UK Government’s Boiler Upgrade Scheme provides a £7,500 grant towards the cost of a qualifying air source heat pump installation. AirCon Doctor are MCS certified installers, meaning our installations qualify for the BUS grant. We handle the grant application process on your behalf.
